Our client, whose product offering includes industrial computers, panel PCs, terminal PCs, industrial platforms and peripherals, has an unrivalled reputation for cost effectiveness, superior design, engineering excellence and above all service and support. They are now looking for a R&D Engineer to research current and new technologies, develop industrial PC system designs and to design and develop electronic and mechanical system components. You will be an HNC/Degree qualified engineer with a minimum of two years design experience within an electronics design environment. Experience of the full design life-cycle (concept to production), new product introduction, mechanical packaging and knowledge of thermal/power considerations will prove highly advantageous. You should also possess a good understanding of analogue and digital electronics and have knowledge of verification and validation testing at system and sub-system levels. |
