: Your role will be to set and monitor the performance expectations for the Plants to ensure that tactical & operational goals are achieved. You will have direct cost management responsibility in excess of 10m per annum with multi-site activities in UK and Belgium. The UK business has recently doubled in size due to an acquisition of a new customer and a major focus of this role will be installing the operational capacity to deal with this growth. Key responsibilities will be to analyze facility performance against KPI objectives on OHSE, Quality and cost directing performance and process improvements at Plant level to achieve and exceed targets; deliver major CAPEX projects to allow business growth; and analyzing financial trends and expense performance to ensure that the expense forecast is accurate. You will co-ordinate with Asset Management & Logistics functions to ensure manufacturing performance supports and is aligned with corporate mission. You w! ill also visit the Plants to provide coaching and development to the Plant Managers and Plant Leadership Team and will deputize for the Plant Operations Director in their absence, as required. You will also be required to contribute to the senior European Plant Operations Management team in network optimization, Project delivery, budgeting and forecasting. Qualified to degree level in Engineering or a related field, you will also have a masters degree in a business related discipline, with knowledge of supply chain, logistics and manufacturing operations, employment development techniques, cost accounting, tactical and operational planning using electronic tools and project management skills. You must have at least 6 years' post-graduate experience in a high volume operations management environment and at least 4 years' leadership experience. It would be desirable but not essential if you had knowledge of Six Sigma methodology, SAP. A second language of the European Union (French or Spanish) to at least Council of Europe Level 3.
