Repair Technician Mobile PhonesBased in Wednesbury, West MidlandsMy client is a huge, successful company involved in the Mobile Phone industry and they require night shift technicians toperform intermediate level diagnostic and repair to mobile handsets.You would be required to work nights, the hours being from 8pm till 6am on Monday to Thursday. There is a shift allowancepayment to compensate for this.The role requires you to repair a broad range of mobile phones efficiently whilst ensuring the customer experiences thebest possible service. You will report to a Team Manager and work alongside other Technicians, Administrators and QualityInspectors, with each Repair Technician being responsible for managing their own work and meeting daily targets set.As a technician, you will be covering a range of manufacturers and faults. You could expect to make cosmetic repairs,check and repair power supply faults, change components and progress to soldering and component repairs - this issupported by a structured training programme and on-going training for new products and technology.The ideal candidate will practice Electro Static Discharge awareness in order to prevent accidental damage to equipment.They will also eliminate blacklisting, SIM card or network problems to ensure fault lies with the handset, oraccessories.The ideal candidate will practice Electro Static Discharge awareness in order to prevent accidental damage to equipment.They will also eliminate blacklisting, SIM card or network problems to ensure fault lies with the handset, oraccessories. |
