DESCRIPTION:- A systems engineering consultant with requirements engineering experience is required. The successful applicant willhave a proven track record of engineering of requirements in addition to other systems engineering skills.- Production of requirement specifications (URD, SRD, SSS).- Management of requirements.- Tasks will involve extensive interaction with customers and potential system users.- Projects vary in domain from airborne systems, sea systems, land systems and service applications.- Customer team working and single man tasks.RESPONSIBILITIES SHALL INCLUDE:- Requirements Engineering (Capture, Analysis, Articulation, Allocation)- Requirements Management (Traceability, Change Control)- Preparation of Requirement Specifications (URD, SRD, SSS)- Preparation of ICDs / IRSs- Preparation of Technical Statements of work for equipment suppliers- Preparation of Integration SpecificationsESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:- Experience of Requirements Engineering- Experience of Requirements Management- Ability to communicate effectively at meetings with customer- Understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle- Knowledge of how systems interrelate and interconnectDESIRABLE SKILLS:- Understanding of "Smart Requirements" as used by the MoD- Experience of DOORS- Experience of UML- Experience of MODAF/DODAF- Experience in constructing requirements databases- Understanding of Integration, Verification & Validation (IVV)- Educated as a minimum to either Degree or equivalent level |
