: RF Engineer for leading technology development company. You must have a 1st/2.1 from a good engineering university;1+years experience in VHF/UHF circuit design, detailed circuit design and testing; and an understanding of system leveldesign and of low-cost design. With good soldering skills, you will be able to benchwork and test complete radiotransmitter/receivers; and ideally you will be familiar with ETSI EN300 113 and Genesis circuit simulation tools.Particular aspects of RF design experience required include VCOs (in particular knowledge of low-noise design);synthesisers; gain stages, mixers, LNAs and power amplifiers to 4W. Salary is negotiable depending on background andqualifications and is likely to be in the range GBP 25 -35K but this is unlikely to be a bar in attracting the rightcandidate. In addition there is an attractive benefits package including relocation where required.
