Job Description:Exciting new position in Hemel Hempstead. Opening February 2006.Premier Travel Inn is the UK's No 1 hotel network, with over 450 hotels nationwide. The company is a merger of 2 greatbrands - Travel Inn and Premier Lodge and is part of Whitbread Plc, the UK's leading hospitality company.The key responsibilities of the role are:1. Manage the reception and reservations operation to ensure Premier Travel Inn brand standards are delivered at alltimes.2. Maximise occupancy through effective yield management, implementing appropriate incentives to support the developmentof the business.3. Manage the recruitment, training and development activity of all reception team members.4. Lead, motivate and coach team members to ensure Premier Travel Inn brand standards are delivered and to supportsuccession planning across the brand.5. Control all reception related costs in line with budgets, in order to achieve profit targets.6. Ensure all legal standards are maintained in terms of health safety, fire and security for customers and team members.7. Carry out Duty Management as required and ensure operational excellence for all areas of the hotel.Requirements:- Graduate level or equivalent.- Rooms management experience.- Experience of working with budgets and financial data.- Ability to analyse and interpret data.- Experience of leading a team, including managing and developing team members.- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.- Able to use own initiative.Job Division: HotelsLocation: Hertfordshire |
