Description:

Our Client, an offshore and onshore oil and gas contractor, is seeking Rotating and Package Equipment Engineers to workon major EPC and PMC projects.Experience/Qualifications:Sshould be a mechanical engineer, probably with at least 5 years experience including working as a client/processcontractor on Refinery, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical Projects. Ideally, candidates will be a member of theirrecognized professional institution or working towards this, and will be familiar with the following codes : API (610-619Pumps/Compressors/Turbines etc), ISO, ASME.Job Scope:Will join an Equipment Group comprising a number of Senior, Mechanical and Graduate/Trainee Engineers, who providespecialist services or support to one or more of the following areas within the Group:- Vessels & Tanks Heat ExchangersFired Heaters Packaged Equipment Rotating Equipment The postholder will be a prime contact on RotatingEquipment/Packages, working as a single discipline engineer or as part of an integrated multi-discipline project teamwithin Teesside or clients offices as required. Main responsibilities are: Review of Process Data Sheet Preparationof Equipment Technical Specifications for Enquiry (Specification/Mechanical Data Sheets etc) TechnicalEvaluation/clarification of Supplier bids - Technical report to support order placement Preparation of EquipmentTechnical Specifications for order Review of supplier documentation for integration within project design(GA/Details/Calculations/Fabrication Procedures etc) Project technical support familiarity with risk assessments,design reviews, constructability, HAZOP, etc. Inspection support, as necessary Construction support, as necessary Ability to lead group on projects Experience with Vessels/Heat Exchangers Equipment to support the Group would beadvantageous but not necessaryRate/Salary: Negotiable but should be good.Duration: Contract or permanent, so whether you are seeking a new contract or permanent position you will have thesecurity of long term prospects with this client.
