Job Purpose:Achieving individual sales and profit targets set, by offering exceptional customer service.Principal Accountabilities:Customer Focus:- To demonstrate after sales follow up and give a positive impression of First Choice at all times.Interpersonal:- To be able to build and maintain good relationships with both team members and customers.- To be enthusiastic, confident and positive, acknowledging all customers.- To develop your own personality into the sales framework, creating a rapport with customers.- Be able to demonstrate empathy and understanding with customers holiday changes and complaints.- To benefit yourself and customer by bringing your manager into sales conversation.Commercial Awareness:- To have knowledge and understanding of targets for both yourself and your shop and apply this commercially.- To consistently achieve all targets set and have a detailed knowledge of campaign incentives.- To understand how to increase the value of a booking and maximise profit and to regularly do this, and to direct thesale to campaign or incentive products.- To know key people in the region, division, and First Choice Retail.- To have a detailed knowledge of relevant competitor activity.Product Knowledge:- To have a detailed and wide- ranging product and brand knowledge and to use manuals, guides, brochures and the intranetas support when necessary.- To be familiar with all First Choice family products and demonstrate a good working knowledge of their brochures, andto know the range of tour operators whom you can sell and their priority.- To have the knowledge that enables you to sell, package holidays, air, cruise, UK, mainstream world-wide and ski andancillary and insurance products.- To have an up to date knowledge on prices and availability and to increase this knowledge from personal experiencegained from holidays or educational visits.Systems, Standards and Procedures:- Be able to use all selling systems in order to make a straight forward booking.- To adhere to all Company standards and procedures including uniform, personal standards and behaviour.- To understand and adhere to all Company IT systems, standards and procedures.Job Division: MainstreamLocation: Great Yarmouth |
