Description:

MAIN DUTIES1. Evaluate customer enquiries and provide quotations in conjunction with the Aftermarket Technical Support Manager.2. Evaluate customer orders and process accordingly, using SOP system to produce Works orders.3. Generate and issue all internal paperwork to Stores and Despatch.4. Generate purchase requisitions for all non-stock and (where necessary) out of stock parts and liaise with thePurchasing department to expedite timely delivery.5. Provide good customer service through close liaison with customers on orders received.6. Issue certification to accompany goods/orders.7. Ensure best possible profit margin is achieved for Aftermarket orders.8. When necessary, cover workload of Contracts Administrator (spares).9. To undertake wider administrative functions for the Strainer business10. To be responsible for the upkeep of the Strainer agency agreements and deal with relevant queries.11. To co-ordinate marketing literature requirements and ensure that appropriate marketing literature is available.12. Embrace the SPX Leadership standards whilst maintaining high standards of discipline and productivity.13. To perform all duties commensurate with the position as requested by the Technical Support Manager in the bestinterests of the Company.
