: This large organisation are a market-leading developer and supplier of communications and IT systems to public sector customers, with a particular emphasis on public safety, criminal justice and local government. They are currently recruiting for a Sales Business Consultant to play a key part in developing their ongoing success in this marketplace. Experienced in service development, the Sales Business Consultant will provide support to the Sales Team to develop solutions and proposals to the Outsourced Services market. Key responsibilities will include: Working closely with colleagues to understand client requirements and generate winning responses Ensuring sales activities are based on acceptable and agreed solutions Liaising closely with internal departments Contributing to the preparation of tender documents Evolving and developing the service offering to maintain competitive advantage Contributing toward strategic initiatives. Internal and client presentations You must have good knowledge of the Public Sector and the Outsourced ICT Service Markets, a strong commercial understanding and the confidence, ability and credibility to work at all levels. ITIL service management experience beneficial. Good experience with sales processes especially long, complex high value sales cycles and service delivery is required. The ideal candidate will be results focused and possess a drive to succeed along with excellent interpersonal skills, a strategic outlook and creative skills. The successful candidate will be an energetic and self-motivated individual with an appetite to work as part of a close team. Excellent written skills and attention to detail are essential. This position offers a salary cGBP 40-45K, plus commission, car and company benefits.
