Our client, a quality manufacturer and supplier in the Back Up Power Supply industry requires a self motivated Sales Engineer to join their team due to continued expansion. This is a rare opportunity to join an innovative leader in the Back Up Power Supply industry selling into a range of vertical markets including Telecommunications, Utilities, Petrochemical, Road and Railways. If you are a successful, technically minded sales professional, you could be a part of this successful, South East based organisation ASAP! In this key role as a Sales Engineer, your duties will be to create new business for this companys range of high quality DC and AC Back Up Power Supply Systems throughout the UK, to end users, and internationally, to key distributors. In addition, you will be responsible for managing a number of key accounts in the Telecommunications, Utilities, Petrochemical, Road and Railway markets. The successful candidate will also be groomed to become a Sales Manager, responsible for managing a small sales team in the medium term. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional sales person with a solid track record of selling technical products into the above-mentioned markets. A minimum of three years sales experience is required. An Electronic or Electrical Engineering qualification is a definite advantage but not a necessity if you have an exceptional track record in sales. You will be technically and commercially astute with the ability to demonstrate strong presentation skills. You will also be a polished, well-presented sales person who can communicate with people at all levels. The excellent remuneration package is indicated between GBP 30K and GBP 35K base salary, negotiable depending on experience with realistic OTE of GBP 50K uncapped.
