Sales Manager - DefenceAn exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join a leading Defence company based in Hampshire. You will successfullysupport the Business Development Manager to develop the Electro-optic market sector by developing strong relationshipswith existing and potential customers, to closely understand their requirements and accurately communicate them to theEngineering team.Duties:- To participate in the marketing and selling functions within the Electro-optics market sector, in support of theBusiness Development Manager. To be responsible for the day-to day management of identified Key Accounts including but not limited to flight-linetest equipment customers. To be responsible for the continued development / improvement of the Electro-optic product portfolio, in support of theBusiness Development Manager. To provide technical product support for exhibitions, demonstrations and equipment trials. To be the technical interface between the customer and the Engineering and Programming teams.Person SpecificationEssentials: Technical HNC level qualification Electronic engineering background At least 4 years previous experience within defence industry Proven sales experience able to demonstrate through previous achievements Previous key account management. Able to work unsupervised & use initiative. Used to travel in different time-zones.Desirables: An understanding of Electro-Optic technology. An understanding of Air defence systems. Ex-military careerIn return you will receive a negotiable basic salary of GBP 30k+, + an excellent commission scheme + pension scheme +private healthcare + 25 days holiday. |
