: Our client designs and manufactures high technology equipment, such as lasers and laser systems, used to improve efficiency and productivity in various industrial markets including electronics & semiconductors. They are seeking a Sales Manager (Product Sales Manager, rather than a man-manager) to be responsible for developing and maximising the sales of the Companys products to distributors, OEMs and end users across Europe. This will involve identifying and selecting distributors and agents, then ongoing monitoring and motivating, along with participation in promoting the Companys products at trade fairs, exhibitions and seminars, as well as giving sales presentations and demonstrations. You will be required to negotiate terms & conditions, identify and target key market sectors and, above all else, be capable of closing business. The successful candidate will need to be qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in a technical discipline with at least 5 years experience industrial experience in related industry sector with relevant product, market and/or technical knowledge, coupled with a strong commercial sales management background.
