Main ResponsibilitiesGeneral To identify sales opportunities including up-sell and PPP, whilst taking into consideration customer needs andrequirements To identify the best deal for our customer according to lender criteria To contact and sell the deal to the customer following compliance requirements To send documents to customers requesting certain information with follow-up phone calls to chase outstanding docs To package the loan deal accurately to enable payout within 30 days To speak with relevant 3rd parties, if required, for any additional information needed to achieve a speedy payout To identify and maximise any resale opportunities To achieve and exceed sales targets To comply with service level agreements for the department along with the requirements of external regulatory bodies To adapt to and manage change in a positive manner To deal with customer queries effectively with regards to pending applications resolving them to the satisfaction ofthe customer and the business Dealing with lenders to complete payout Working along side team leader to train new staff on underwriting processKnowledgeKnowledge of secured loan underwriting and lending criteria procedure to ensure the correct plan is selected for eachcustomer.To have a full understanding of the financial industry.To be fully compliant with FSA and DPA Regulations.SkillsTo provide an excellent standard of customer service.To have good keyboard skils.To be confident and aware of the product to be sold and have the ability to ask questions ensuring all relevantinformation is collected.To be able to work as a team member effectively but also be confident to work on own initiative.
