Description: |
Provide effective telephone support to ensure that customer queries and issues are resolved to their satisfaction and tothe benefit of the business.*To respond to customer queries within designated time scales providing accurate information as requested by the customer*To assist the customer with the resolution of their problem. This will involve testing the problem, providing advice,and arranging the delivery of defect fixes. To maintain ownership of the customer problem until a mutually satisfactoryresolution is obtained.*Testing suspected defects and providing full details to the Development department for correction and subsequentlytesting any fixes that are provided. To all be done according to the QMS guidelines.*To attend customer meetings, or to be part of customer visits as and when required*To be included in any ad hoc projects which may arise. For example, involvement of new helpdesk software, improvementsto the working practices of the Support department.Key Qualifications & Experience Essential: *Educated to A level standard Or Degree or Industry specific Higher leveltraining preferred*Previous experience in a customer support environment*Experience in an applicable CRM package, Preferably SalesLogix*Experience of appropriate database/operating systems such as MS Windows, SQL server, Oracle. Basic knowledge of SQL andLAN/WAN concepts.*Knowledge of Visual Basic, in depth networking skills and consultancy experience would all be an advantage. |
