: This organisation is a renowned Aviation and Defence Systems consultancy. Their progressive and rapidly expanding aerostructures business unit provides specialist technical mechanical engineering and manufacturing engineering support services on major aerospace programmes such as Joint Strike Fighter, A380, A350, A400M and Trent 1000 (for 787). They now seek a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design of particular projects as required, produce design data-sets to satisfy the project deliverables and to provide a holistic approach to design integration. The successful candidate will possess sound technical judgement and leadership skills and will provide design leadership within a multi-disciplined project team. In addition to these skills you should also have knowledge of aircraft primary structures and be experienced in CAD (ideally CATIA V4/V5 or CADDS5). |
