RoleSenior Civil / Structural EngineerWorking on a mixture of Feasibility, Outline and Detailed Design projects for Structures, foundations and earthworkswithin the Rail environment.Reporting to the Associate/ Principle Engineer the successful candidate will be able to work alone or as part of a teamleading CAD support and Graduate / Junior engineers to deliver Reports, Inspection, Drawings, Specifications etc. forCivil and Structural schemes.Work as a part of a multifunctional Rail team.Key CompetenciesSkills: Able to work without supervision. Able to lead a small team of engineers. Able to produce neat clear calculationsin a structured format. Conversant with Auto CAD.Qualifications: Civil Engineering degree / I Eng working towards C Eng within 12 months.Personal Qualities: Good communication skills, good leadership skills, self starter, team player.Experience:Should have at least 5 year post Graduate work experience with a Consultant or Contractor focused on design and 2 yearswithin the Rail industry. |
