Senior Civil / Structural Engineer - Responsible for:- Engineer, Graduate Engineer, Senior Designer, Designer.Skills Knowledge & Speciail Attributes neede for this position:- Degree Bsc or B Eng in Civil Engineering. Preferablychartered MICE or MIStructE. Min 6-10 years industry experience, in one or more following areas, Process. Refineries,Water & Nuclear. Lead Engineer experience, leading a team of Engineers & designers on projects. Must be a goodcommunicator.Clean Driving Licence required.Must be able to travel to meet business demands.Ability to manage a budget to execute a scope of work. Able to produce & present an execution plan. Identify and solveengineering problems. Produce manhour and quantity estimates for CS&A. Manage a design team. Negotiate with Client,Consultants & subcontractors. Takes responsibility and 'owns' work. Able to think strategically.Range & Scope of Activities:-Experience in design of Structural steelwork, concrete and drainage systems. Must be computer literate. Experience in theuse of proprietry computer packages for design. Knowledge of preparation of subcontract packages. Prepare reports onexisting facilitiesNature of Problems & Solving Them:-Inspection and analysis of existing structures. Installation of new plant within existing structures/foundations.Containment Bunding of existing tanks & equipment |
