GBP 28,000 to GBP 36,000 per year

Description:

Our client, one of the UKs leading Environmental Consultancies, is looking to appoint a high calibre Senior Consultant to work with their expanding Industrial Compliance team in either London, Edinburgh, Belfast, Manchester or Shrewsbury.Suitable candidates will hold a first Degree in environmental science or a relevant industrial, safety, engineering or science based subject. A postgraduate qualification and professional membership (e.g. EARA, IOSHH, COSHH etc.) would be beneficial.Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years experience and a proven ability to deliver solutions to industrial clients in areas such as environmental performance, process efficiency, resource efficiency and safety. Knowledge of monitoring systems and industrial plant would therefore be highly desirable. Candidates must have project management experience and be able to manage projects within budget and meet deadlines. Excellent written communication and presentation skills are also required. As a self-starter, candidates will have the drive and ability to develop their own clients and service areas, and thus commercial and business development expertise are essential. Previous management experience would also be beneficial as candidates will need the potential to manage less senior staff.The successful applicant will join one of the most experienced industrial consultancy teams in the UK, working alongside experts in industrial compliance and air quality, and will bring further technical diversity to the team. Daily tasks will include managing projects and providing technical consultancy to industrial clients, attracting new business and developing existing clients, producing written reports and proposals, mentoring, supporting and managing colleagues and presenting at seminars, conferences, client meetings and training sessions.
