Based near Slough, our client is a major software provider. They are looking for a Senior Consultant (Post-Sales) to undertake post-sales work in the Unicenter product area. You will need at least 5 years experience in the IT industry including exposure to sales in a pre-sales or consultative role with an open systems background including disciplines such as NT, TCP/IP, networking, databases and etnerprise management. You must have in-depth knowledge and experience with any of the following CA tools: CA Unicenter NSM/TNG 2.4, 2.42, 3.0 & 3.1, Asset Management, Software Delivery, Remote Control or eTrust Antivirus, EAV (UAM 3.2/4.0, USD 3.1/4.0, URC 5.2/6.0, EAV 6.0/7.0) and Brightstor High Availability. Also Windows of Microsoft SMS, SQL, Unix and Windows is highly desirable. You should also have some of the following: VMS, Novell, SAP, Oracle, MS Exchange, Lotus Notes, etc experience. To apply you must be a British National as the role will involve working on client sites that require a high level of Security Clearance. You will be expected to be able to position and present the benefits of the solution with the client &/or install the solution at the clients site. You should have a positive attitude, be customer-focused and willing to travel at short notice within the UK |
