Description:

TRAINING NEEDS ANALYSIS PSYCHOLOGISTOur client requires a confident and self motivated Senior Consultant for their Centre for Human Sciences within the Training Group. You are a graduate in Psychology or related discipline, ideally with postgraduate qualification in a relevant area of psychology, e.g. Occupational Psychology. You will have experience of working in a commercial environment and have knowledge of relevant scientific literature (transfer of training, simulation, distance learning, and issues in cost-effectiveness). Plus a broad range of occupational psychology skills including conducting Training Needs Analysis, advising on instructional system design, data analysis and evaluating the effectiveness / efficiency of training. Knowledge of recruitment / selection advantageous. Ability to plan, conduct and report research activities for range of diverse customers. Experience of developing bids, market offerings and articulating these to potential clients. Excellent communication, presentation/written skills. Ability/track record in moving seamlessly between roles of leading and being a member of project teams. Excellent customer liaison skills, able to build relationships and influence senior decision makers. ROLE: Consultancy/research based projects assessing training needs, evaluating training effectiveness, training delivery mechanisms / investigating the role that new training techniques play in sustaining organisational effectiveness. Develop/bring new training based offerings to the marketplace, provide consultancy to a wide client base with emphasis on non-military / civil applications. Contribute to profitability of CHS through successful completion of projects, development of new / existing business opportunities. Assist in delivering our clients training business on a day to day basis and providing consultancy in support of wide variety of research programmes.
