Its essential that you have : Strong development experience within the Retail sector, 2-3 years working within aninternet / multi-channel environment,experience of full development life cycle, 4-5 years of systems architecture andinfrastructure design,4-5 years experience as a DBA. Strong supplier management skills, years line managing highlyfocused development teams,experience of working alongside/managing off-shore suppliers/development teams, Experience ofLevel 3 support and maintenance, used to working in a challenging and fast paced environment. Excellent detailed documentwriting skills,management of source libraries,educated to degree level in a technical subject, technical knowledge in twoor more of the following :o J2EE (essential)o Oracle and SQL databaseso Interwoveno HP / Sun platformso JBoss / .Net application serversThe successful candidate will preferably have Experience of platform / database migration Experience of smart card technologies and retail EFT processes Some experience of working for a Solutions provider/Integrator and supporting the pre-sales process Experience of helping to create and develop new development teams Experience of working within a Retail-Java environmentYou will need to have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage and develop high performance developmentteams,articulate with ability to communicate ideas clearly at all levels. You will be able to manage high demand for theservices of the team. |
