Salary: | GBP 22,000 to GBP 30,000 per year |
Description: |
Degree or equivalent in Electrical / Electro Mechanical Engineering or a related subject. A minimum of 5 years experiencein the design and manufacture of precision engineered products. PC plus CAD and PDM software. Experience of Solidworks orAutoCAD would be beneficial.Your role will include: To create detailed designs, inline with company procedures, projecttimescales and the original cost estimate, that can be profitably manufactured and that meet or exceed the customersdesign expectations. To ensure that new products are designed for manufacture by using Simultaneous Engineeringtechniques and working closely with the Production Engineering Department. To support Sales and the Business Units in themaintenance of existing products and creation of new quotations. To support the Estimating function in the creation ofcost estimates for new products, specifically highlighting any areas of technical risk. |
