: First class career opportunity for you to join this very successful manufacturer, producing reliable equipment for Oil & Gas, drilling and production worldwide. The function of the roll is to liaise with the project based lead and unit engineers to ensure commonality of approach in design as well as ensuring designs meet ever changing legislation and movement in industry standards. The role includes the design of low volume specialist electrical control and instrumentation systems, to produce detailed function design specifications from internal and external documentation sources. A knowledge of design for CE and interpretation and implementation of other international design standards is needed together with a flexible approach towards involvement at all stages of the product life cycle. Qualified to HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering, you will have at least 7 years experience in a relevant industry and a working knowledge of BS 7671 16th edition wiring regulations. You must have a knowledge of design for CE compliance and interpretation of other international design standards. It would be desirable to have ATEX and Haz area design experience and experience of design of low volume specialist electrical 19" rack based control and instrumentation systems. |
