Senior Estimator - This position is primarily based in Cheshire but significant periods will be spent on site in NorthWales and / or West Cumbria. Skills, Knowledge and Special Attributes Needed for this Position:- Professionally qualified(eg Chartered) Engineer. At least ten years relevant estimating / cost engineering experience. Capable of workingindependently. Nuclear experience. Site based experience. Commercial awareness. Self-motivated and able to work withoutroutine supervision. Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Willing to adopt a flexible working pattern to achieve deadlines.Ability to multi-task. Plan, organise, prioritise and deliver estimates to required quality. Ensure robust riskmanagement processes are applied. Ensure estimates are prepared to pre-determined stage gate levels of accuracy. Manageclient expectations with respect to timeliness of estimate production. Ensure corporate requirements are satisfied.Range and Scope of Activities:- Estimating lead on projects up to GBP 10million cost. Works within Company or clientprocedures. Operates within an Alliance or Joint Venture contracting arena. |
