SENIOR FINANCE OFFICER - CARDIFFAn 18 month contract has arisen to work for a charitable organisation in Cardiff. My client has recieved funding andtherefore they are looking for someone to oversee the day to day running of the project. The suitable candidate will beAAT qualified or in their early stages of a professional qualification.Working within the finance department you will be required to deal with a wide range of accounting duties. Previousexperience within a Public Sector environment and of objective 1 funding would be a distinct advantage. Yourresponsibilities will include the posting of journal entries onto a Sage Line 50 system, budget setting, dealing withreconciliations and a monthly payroll for approximately 80 employees. A good strong team player is required as you willneed to liaise with other members of staff in order to solve queries and get the job done. Also a professional andcourteous manner is required as you will be in contact with clients on a regular basis.Excellent working conditions and rates of pay make this an attractive offer
