Senior Infrastructure Engineer London Salary Neg PermanentOur Client requires a chartered engineer, to work in an established Infrastructure, Transportation and Environment Groupin London. The role will be both to lead the design of major urban infrastructure projects (drainage and highways) andsite development, and to develop the work of the group. The key requirements of a Senior Engineer are: Bachelors degree in Engineering (BEng) or Masters degree in Engineering (MEng), or not less than six years relevantworking experience and working towards Chartered Engineer Chartered Engineer and corporate member of relevant institution Good computer IT skills Good communication skills, experience in dealing with other employees and external clients. Confident, proactive character, with a track record of taking the lead in challenging situationsAs Senior Infrastructure Engineer, your role and responsibilities will include: Operate and competently work on an independent basis Manage single or multi-discipline project Communicate directly with Client Prepare technical and financial proposals for new work Plan and monitor job resourcing/expenditure and adjust as necessary Manage job Engineer/Technician. Prepare and take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detail design Prepare Technical Specifications Check/verify subordinates work Monitor job financial performance Be alive to new opportunities in course of work Set up and manage job/project administrative systems. Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of theclient are achieved. Ensuring all relevant staff are informed of client matters. Continually ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the clients best interests and thatCompany policy is in keeping with current legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice etc.Ref: 0511-33
