: The role: Enabling our client to win and deliver convergent IP Telephony business, and to deliver high value consultancy. The Consultant will undertake full life cycle assignments for existing and new customers, provide bid support on major bids and develop IP telephony designs for projects and customer proposals. The role will be as a Senior Consultant in the Pre-Sales team based in Slough. Develop accounts opportunities with Sales Understand existing and emerging products and to develop new propositions with the practice team Analysis of customers telephony requirements followed by production of a baseline design and scope of works based on those requirements Act as a Technical Design Authority on major accounts, designing the solution and maintaining the design through the life of the equipment Undertake revenue earning, projects covering all aspects of telephony infrastructure integration around Mitel & Cisco product portfolios Support sales decisions with a broad knowledge of competitive technologies Tasks: Develop IP Telephony offerings Increase the sales of IP Telephony based solutions Produce standards based documentation Increase the awareness of IP Telephony offerings Provide sales and pre-sales support including presentations and tender response support Offer consultancy support covering IP Telephony technology Ensure that all activities of the business comply with legal and ethical standards Perform other tasks and activities as and when required To give technology focused briefings, develop newsletters and collateral. Essential experience: 5+ yrs broad based voice telephony experience 3+ yrs experience as a Pre-Sales consultant In addition to general pre-sales aptitude, particular areas of technical expertise should include as many of the following: Demonstrable Mitel and/or Cisco IP Telephony experience (Accredited Courses/Exams) Products including IP Telephony and TDM based PBX switches Securing IP Telephony and PBX installations Single site, multi site and branch network voice solutions Voice applications such as Conferencing, Unified Messaging, Voice Recording and Contact Centre Understanding of the BT product set (desirable) Qualifications: Graduate or qualified by experience Up to date and relevant current manufacturers accreditations |
