Our client, who are a global leader in their field have a excellent opportunity for an senior network support engineerwith experience of supporting Windows NT/XP/2000/2003 desktop and server environments with a CCNP qualification. Thesenior network support engineer will be responsible for providing senior technical guidance at a 2nd to 3rd line supportlevel on Windows NT/XP/2000/2003 environments and Cisco technologies. Whilst providing senior network assistance thesenior network support engineer will also be responsible for fault reporting, diagnosing problems, remote fix on SLA'sand mentoring service desk engineers. You will be familiar with supporting Windows NT/XP/2000/2003 and Cisco environmentsfrom 1st to 4th line and be familiar with trouble shooting of network faults using the Netcool Suite remote managementtool in both Windows and Cisco environments. With at least 5 years experience of network support you will be excellent atbuilding relationships with network managers and 3rd party organisations. Ideally with a good educational background witha HNC or equivalent in Comms/Engineering. |
