Take this chance and watch your career fly!My ClientMy client is a leading international insurance outsourcing organization with a reputation for being an excellent, dynamic and cutting edge employer.Job DescriptionTransactional processing:Administers pensions transactions. This may include joiners, transfers in, early leavers, transfers out, deaths, retirements (ill health, early, normal and late). It may also include divorce, contribution changes, setting up and changing AVC arrangements, fund switches and redirections. Monitors use of data, systems, processes and standard documentation, advising the Team Leader or a Manager of any inadequacies. Briefs the Team Leader on any concerns raised by members that may lead to complaints. Responsibility for other staff Manages work volumes prioritising to ensure targets are met. Provides support and guidance to Pensions Administrators and Assistant Pensions Administrators. This will include ensuring processes are understood, technical support, output checking and providing feedback on transactions completed. May supervise a small team. Operational development: Tests new releases and new calculations, evaluating results. Recommends improvements to processes and standard documentation. Person SpecificationGCSEs or equivalent in Mathematics and English, grades A-C.At least five years defined benefit scheme pensions administrative experience, ideally in a customer processing business. IT literate including experience of using word processing, spreadsheets and databases at basic level. Ability to think from the customers perspective. Awareness of pensions industry including legislation and administration best practice. QPA qualified or at least five years pensions administration experience and excellent pensions technical knowledge.
