Description:

The role will involve the management of EIAs and related work along with the promotion and implementation of SEAs andassociated activities. The role will also involve the management and coordination of a team of environmental consultantsto ensure a high quality, cost effective service is provided to clients. Other duties will include the development ofbusiness in relation to environmental planning skills and supporting the Environmental Director.Applicants must have a degree/diploma in Environmental Planning/EIA or a closely related subject as well as membership ofthe Royal Town Planning Institute. Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment would beadvantageous. A minimum of 8 years previous experience within a consultancy is required and this should ideally includelocal authority experience.
