: A first class opportunity exists for you to take a challenging and active role in this leading and developing company operating within the global oil and gas industry. Opus applies high quality objective resources and versatile facilities to investigate and provide solutions to enhance the production and environmental performance of their clients' production facilities. Opus is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to take responsibility for process design activities within the company. This will require key decision making skills and the ability to effectively communicate ideas and technical information to all levels of technical and management personnel. The role will also encompass some elements of project engineering that will involve managing projects from process review to implementation. The successful applicant will be involved in managing process design studies; separation system and produced water treatment upgrade projects, including design and supply of integrated process equipment and development of innovative technology. You should also be able to establish client specific process objectives and follow these through to achievement; working in a small interactive team. A degree in Chemical Engineering is essential together with Chartered Engineer status and not less than 5 years relevant industry experience in the oil and gas industry. The post also involves some travel and attendance at client meetings and offshore platforms. Therefore UK and Norwegian Offshore Safety Certification or willingness to attain these qualifications is also required. |
