SENIOR QA MICROBIOLOGIST - FOOD SECTOR - 12745Our Client is seeking a motivated Senior QA Microbiologist /Team Supervisor, to provide a comprehensive service to thefactory and microbiology laboratory areas.Responsible for the day-today supervision of the microbiology team, the successful applicant will also manage:- Sample collection from the production and processing areas- Environmental monitoring- Reporting of results for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products- Routine management of the pest control process- Support of ISO9001 accreditationEducated to HNC/HND/Degree level, applicants should have a minimum of 3-years relevant experience of microbial testing inthe food industry, and you should also have team management skills.Role: PermanentLocation: North LancashireSalary: Circa GBP 18,000 per annum (negotiable and dependant on experience)
