Reporting to the Divisional Surveying Director of the Local Works and Maintenance operation, you will be responsible forpredominantly term maintenance projects with values typically up to GBP 2M bracket. A mixture of clients are represented inthe current and forward workload although this post will deal directly with the Royal Bank of Scotland contract. Keyresponsibilities will include accurate measurement of subcontract works and variation account in order to minimise costand risk; the submission of accurate and detailed payment applications; identification of areas of overspend and wasteand the identification and review of commercial risk. Preparation of interim and final account submissions and providingperformance feedback reports after project completion will also be expected. An enthusiastic and committed team builderwith proven all round surveying skills, you must be able to communicate across all levels both internally and externallyand possess a wide range of well developed IT skills. The successful individual will also be responsible forcommunicating information to junior staff and identifying the training needs of subordinates.
