Our client, who are one of the leading contractors in the UK, have recently been awarded a major highways contract in East Sussex and they are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. The main responsibilities will be:- - support the project team in all commercial matters- ensure the accurate and timely evaluation and agreement of final quantities, revised and additional items, rates and compensation events- set up administration systems- ensure timely submission of valuations- ensure cashflow is maximised including ensuring payments are received on time- produce cash flow forecasts and keep updated- manage the commercial aspects of sub-contract accounts, from procurement to interim and final account agreementThe ideal candidate will:-- have a minimum of 10 years experience, preferably in highways- have a thorough understanding of ECC form of contract- possess excellent negotiating skills- have IT skills- have a working knowledge of site programmes and recognise the commercial implications of changeIf you are interested in this exceptional opportunity, then please send your CV to civil.south@leap29.com |
