Our Client , an offshore contractor in the design and operation of oil and gas, topsides facilities, offshore pipelineengineering UK and Overseas, are looking for Senior Safety Engineers.Job Scope:Supervises discipline and graduate engineers. Shall ensure that all allocated responsibilities are dealt withaccordingly.Maintain technical integrity within discipline.Ensure that the work output of discipline assigned staff complies with relevant procedures.Review work/work output of discipline assigned staff as required.Prepare estimates and assist in the review of proposed schedules.Ensure that results of any development work are fully utilised in discipline activities.Provide technical assistance to other disciplines as required.Providing documentation and drawing deliverables for inclusion in workpacks and or design books on time to meet offshoredeadlines.Producing cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe.Taking part and contributing to construction risk assessment and construction method statements.Responsible as a key member of any Project team for achieving the Project target and completion of the Project within thebudget and schedule.Producing cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe.Qualifications/Experience:Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.8 years engineering experience which should include Offshore Projects for 4 years or Offshore Projects for 2 years andpetrochemical industry for 6 years.Experience of safety design and fire and gas detection and protection, deluge systems and escape routes, safety equipmentand signs, hazardous area classification on onshore and offshore faciltiies, EER study and Vulnerability of EmergencySystems.Experience of Safety Cases for platforms, safety review of modifications and their impact on the Safety Case or COMAHreport. Attendance/Chair HAZOPs, HAZIDs and Safety Reviews.Experience of Project plans for HSE modifications and produce project HSE plan and design safety assessment procedures.Duration: Long termRate: Negotiable
