: A world-class supplier of engineering, design, build and through-life support solutions in the defence sector is currently looking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Manager to manage marketing activities to underpin Business Development Activities. Main responsibilities will include 1) managing the sales and marketing plan, 2) managing the collection and distribution of market intelligence relating to principle customers, competitors and suppliers,3) managing promotion including advertising, organising conferences, seminars and meetings, and co-ordinating presentations 4) supporting account managers 5)contributing to the overall business plan development.In order to succeed you will have wide experience of sales and marketing within the defence sector, with particular focus on the sea environment. A broad understanding of the sources of market intelligence and the processes for "sifting", analysing and distributing is important as is strong communication ski! lls and the ability to think strategically. Location Plymouth, Salary GBP 35-55K
