These clients work in a variety of industries and never stop bringing interesting and diverse project challenges. Successfully solving these challenges with their clients requires innovative and motivated professionals ready to roll up their sleeves and get the project done. Our clients specialize in software selection, implementation and integration to systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials, Maximo, Indus PassPort and other major ERP and EAM systems. Our clients have an immediate need for an experienced, professional sales person for their London Office. Our client is looking for solutions sales executives with 3+years experience in technical software sales preferably in the engineering, financial, manufacturing or construction industry. You will be reporting to the national managing director working from our London City offices. You will quickly develop an in depth understanding of the suite of tools in our toolkit. You will possess a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of project management issues within engineering, construction, pharmaceuticals, IT or new product development, strategically planning vertical sales targets with your sales team. You will also recognize, plan and develop new vertical markets. You will achieve short and longer-term objectives especially in sales revenue, gross margin and other growth targets. You will translate client needs into specifications so that services can be delivered effectively and efficiently. You will maintain high levels of client satisfaction by assuring services meet clients' expectations. You will primarily manage sales through prospecting, lead qualification, forecasting, resource allocation, account strategy, and planning while developing solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the business applications. Ultimately you will participate in the creation, presentation and sales of a complete value added solutions via the telephone, Internet, and customer meetings. This role will require you to have an ability to negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales. You will need to build relationships with senior managers within client organizations and have an understanding of industry structures, trends, initiatives, and issues. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of working with sales organizations to achieve and exceed their sales goals. The ideal candidate will have experience of closing sales by building rapport with potential accounts, explaining product and service capabilities and overcoming objections and preparing contracts. The ideal candidate must have sold Oracle Solutions for Oracle or an Oracle partner. They will be operate in the field and work on a 50:50 ration on new business to account management. They will have territory management experience. Experience working with complex clients varying in size and industry is essential. An excellent organization skill, in particular ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks simultaneously is a plus. A successful and consistent record of achieving high performance in sales, developing new business and meeting sales targets must be demonstrated. Also a minimum of three years selling experience in the IT industry, specifically in a technology services and solutions business Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to different industries and work environments to understand and translate clients' needs. Superior communications skills (verbal, written & presentation) and an ability to quickly create rapport are fundamental for this role.
