Senior Technical Support Engineer +- Degr Cheshire Technical Support with min 5 years post-graduate commercial experience. Will have solid MS support exp incl: Windows Server 2003 & 2000 server, Windows XP & 2000 desktop, MS Office and good PC and network hardware (basic PC upgrades and routine hardware maintenance). Experience in systems/network administration functions (ideally in an Active Directory environment), including managing backups (ideally with Veritas BackupExec) and anti virus protection are also required. Any Unix support/admin skills are highly desirable for this role within a niche market, successful consultancy, as are strong communication skills. Any Project Management experience would also be advantageous so a Prince 2 certification or experience would be good. You will have the ability to support a sophisticated and complex internal IT infrastructure environment on a day-to-day basis, backed up by a degree.: Technical Support with min 5 years post-graduate commercial experience.
