Our client is one of the worlds leading providers of property related facilities management services and they are currently seeking to appoint a Service Delivery Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a background in the Technical Services industry to join a leading organisation and develop their commercial experience further. Responsibilities 1. Service Delivery Management Management and reporting of statutory compliance inspections. Overseeing the progress of reactive works. Managing closedowns of reactive works and associated communications with Clients. Managing complaints closure relating to service delivery Working closely with the Operations Manager and other commission teams to enhance systems and procedures to the benefit of the client and suppliers. You will also be building relationships across the business to meet objectives. 3. Staff Management Managing and co-ordinating staff appointed to assist with service delivery management duties and assessing requirements for ad-hoc training and coaching. Requirements The ideal candidate will be educated to HNC/Degree level preferably in a Technical Discipline. Professional membership (e.g. BIFM) is desirable but not essential. Working knowledge of MS office and knowledge work order tracking systems is desirable Strong commercial awareness of technical services industry Experience of managing a team of people and providing training & coaching support The Person An articulate and professional person with strong communication and networking skills. You must be confident in managing change and dealing with conflict in a calm and assertive manner.
