My client is the world leader in the design and manufacture of high performance gearboxes for industrial and marineapplications.Their experience in the fields of Gas and Steam Turbine applications, Oil and Gas production projects, Hydro TurbinePower Generation and Marine Propulsion is unsurpassed.The purpose of this position is :- To increase customer awareness of their world-class gearbox repair and overhaul facility, and other Aftermarketactivities they offer. Develop customer relationships with end-users and service providers of rotating machinery products, typically UKbased. Responsible for the generation of enquiries and the preparation of quotations for spares, maintenance, repairs, gearboxmodifications and upgrades depending on customer requirements.The most successful candidate will have working knowledge and experience in the following key areas - Engineer with 1-2 years on the job training with excellent interpersonal skills, with at least two years in acommercial environment. Technical Product Expertise - The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and differentiate between productcomponents. Experience within the gearing industry High Speed High Power sector an advantage.
