This West London based Client is a large global electronics company and a major player in the GSM mobile phone industry, most recently entering the 3G market.They are now looking to appoint an experienced permanent person to manage their mobile phone handset service support function. The successful candidate should already be established in the digital radio service industry.The role carries responsibility for developing and managing the post-sales service support network with Authorised Service Centres. This will require the monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLA), the management of the returns/warranty claims process, training engineers on the servicing of new handset models, as well as the analysing and reporting of statistical data. There will be customer interaction and regular travel to their sites (which includes overseas in the EU) so you must be able to work and travel in Europe.Knowledge of the mobile telephony market along with strong technical skills is desired. Ideally you will be educated to HND level in a relevant subject with a minimum of 3 years experience in the mobile telecommunications arena. |
