This is a unique opportunity for ambitious Six Sigma experts to implement change in a large engineering business, accelerate the pace of transformation and make a huge impact from the very start of an extremely high profile programme.We're looking for Black Belts who can manage and deliver projects on a day-to-day basis - providing technical support, acting as an ambassador for the methodology and coaching project teams towards meeting their targets.We are looking for people with a proven record of delivery - successful implementation of projects is our most important criteria. You'll need a detailed knowledge of DMAICT methodology and experience of Six Sigma implementation within a large organisation. You'll also need the strong communication, leadership and people management skills to influence senior management and persuade colleagues across the UK to adopt new working methods.Key Accountabilities- Develop and deliver six sigma projects as directed- Responsible for local implementation of six sigma projects transferred from other locations - Deliver six sigma training and development.- Establish and set the priority for improvement projects in order to maximise efficiency and performance.- Work with the Master Black Belt, and Project Champions to ensure appropriate allocation of resources - Develop processes to capture and assess appropriate projects for Six Sigma. - Monitor/report the progress and effectiveness of Six Sigma projects.- Act as mentor for relevant Six Sigma Yellow and Green beltsJob Skills, Experience and Qualifications Skills- Six sigma training to Black Belt level.- Detailed knowledge of DMAICT methodology- Experience of successful delivery of Six Sigma programme/projects - Experience of influencing senior management and strong people management skills- Experience of large multi-functional and complex multi-site organisations - Experience of complex engineering and production environments and knowledge of process management- Experience of change and project/programme management- Excellent communication skills- Strong analytical skills- Strong commercial awarenessCapabilities- Conceptual thinking- Reading the Business picture- Providing leadership and direction- Influence and impact- Analytical thinking- Commercial awareness- Partnership building |
