Skills for Life CoordinatorSalary: GBP 26,547 - GBP 27,957 pa inc.Job Ref: J425learndirect is the governments flagship e-learning programme and is managed locally by South Thames College. We areseeking a experienced Skills for Life practitioner to coordinate and develop the delivery of literacy, numeracy and ESOLacross a distributed network of learning centres across central London. Youll be responsible for implementing the Skillsfor Life strategy, helping promote Skills for Life courses, and supporting learning centre staff in developing theirskills.You will either have or be working towards a level 4 Skills for Life qualification. The job will require regular travelwithin the central London area.Welfare AdviserSalary: GBP 24,429 - GBP 25, 863 pa inc.Job Ref: J433As part of the Student Counselling and Advice Team, your role will be to provide a wide range of current welfareinformation, advice & casework including benefits, maximizing income and tier one housing and immigration work. You willhave a minimum of 2 years experience of relevant welfare rights casework andbenefi ts practice and have an adaptable and responsive working style to meet the needs of our diverse student body.Experience of working in a college or similar environment would be desirable.
