Responsibilities:All duties are performed in conjunction with the Systems Integration Manager and supported from the System Integrationteam. Teamwork is an important aspect of this job, with cross department co-operation being a key to success.Provide Smartcard application support for applications already written being used by our customers.To have the ability to write Smartcard applications.To liase with Blue chip customers technical departments in the low-level implementation issues of Smartcard applications.To manage and support software projects using internal and external source including carrying out acceptance and qualitytests.To ensure that software quality procedures are maintained.Skills Required:A good level of customer relations/interpersonal and communication skills.Enthusiastic and methodical in meeting a wide ranging job. Strong process discipline, analytical and problem solvingskills.Experience in C, C++, COM and Java is a requirementExperience of interfacing with databases, Access, Oracle, SQL etc.Experience in software with electronic & electro-mechanical systems would also advantageous.Strong working knowledge of personal computers and application programs. Exposure to different PC Operating Systems,Windows NT, Win2k Server, Win2003 Server, XP and IBM OS/2. Microsoft Office.Education/Experience:Experienced software engineer with Smartcard experience including DES & Triple DES key encryption knowledge. |
