: You will be ensuring quality, documentation and business priorities are adhered to in the development and release of software within a large organisation, based primarily on .NET applications. Business priorities will need to be defined, constructed, certified and scheduled, and the development, testing, staging and production environments will need to be assessed and defined. You will ensure code artifacts are stored in Microsoft Visual Source Safe, and ensure all are scripted (MSI, VBS and SQL Script). You will need to have strong knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in deploying .NET applications in a mixed technology environment. Also important will be strong knowledge of Windows 2000 Server and above, hands-on experience with MS Visual Source Safe 6.0 and above, and IIS 5.0 and 6.0. The contract will be for a month initially, and requires a start ASAP. |
