Our client requires a Software Consultant to make a significant contribution to the development and enhancement of advanced software products, mainly for the Life Science market. You hit the ground running, working in a fast moving environment as a proactive member of a small team, undertaking multiple roles and maintaining an up-to-date skill set. The role will involve pre-sales support, project / team leadership, product development and account management. You must have significant OO software design and implementation experience, minimum 1st / 2:1 degree in science based domain (or conversion degree), 5 years+ experience and C#. Your skills will encompass creativity, attention to detail, willingness to learn new skills and analytical skills. Leadership experience in a formal or informal capacity is of significant interest as is a desire to be involved with clients for pre-sales and post-sales. The following a desirable: Visual Studio.net, ASP.net, Web service and WSE, COM / DCOM / .NET Interop / .NET Remoting, Security, Oracle database installation and preparation, XML, UML, Software Architecture, Designing graphical user interfaces, Unit Testing (xUnit), Win32, Delphi, Active X and Instrument Automation. |
