Our client, a major UK PLC is a recognised leader in the provision of technology solutions with an established reputation for the provision of high quality solutions to the Public Sector.There is now an exciting opportunity for Software Designer / Architect to join the Technology Solutions division and to develop leading edge Document Management, Workflow and Scanning applications sold to public sector clients.As our ideal candidate you will possess an IT related Degree and have software development experience gained within the public sector. Microsoft Certification preferred, experience of C#.Net, SQL Server and n-tier development essential. UML, Visual Basic 6, C++, ASP.Net and Oracle preferred. You will have demonstrable experience of collating high level requirements and specifying appropriate architecture, development tasks and completion estimates. Leadership skills also required in mentoring more junior Developers. Ideally you will have Document Management, Workflow and Scanning product experience.
