Their pedigree has been built upon the company's ability to deliver a wellordered and secure asset for their client base in the public and enterprise sectors.We are looking for a proven and experienced Software Development Manager to develop an integrated set of well-architectedproducts, covering the design, management and control of wireless infrastructures. As a Software Development Manager youwill plan, refine and execute the technology roadmap and manage a multi-site software development team of up to 20 staff.Key skills and experience :- At least five years man-management experience within a similar role and a solid background in software engineering. Ten years plus commercial software development, including building substantial systems on client and server sidesystems where performance is an issue. Knowledge and experience of a good mixture of wireless protocols, particularly at layers 1 and 2, preferably includinga good mix of the following: WiFi, GSM, UMTS, Bluetooth. Experience of building Web Services/EAI based systems including Web Services enabling technologies (XML, SOAP, UDDI,WSDL etc), EAI tools and applications Software development in a mixed-operating system environment, including embedded Linux and Windows. Implementation of numerically intensive signal processing algorithms in a scalable, cross-platform fashion. Knowledge of basic RF concepts such as coverage, interference, modulation schemes etc. Use of C/C++, Java, Delphi, .NET/J2EE and HTML.
