: Software engineer become TECHNICAL LEAD & MENTOR to development team. You will work for a highly ambitious & rapidly growing online games company which aims to obtain a US listing in 6 years time. It seeks a candidate able to contribute to that - a dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit & bucketloads of raw ability. You will have the opportunity to be part of an immensely exciting adventure. The Primary Task (circa 90% of the time): to work in Java as leading engineer, with 'the co-engineer' and 'the interns' and 'the munitioneer' to convert the early prototype of the game into the full prototype. You will also be mentoring and coaching where you will be gaining invaluable experience. To apply, you will need a first class, or upper second degree from a top University (Imperial, Cambridge etc), or higher qualification in software engineering or computer science. Ideally you will have 2 years experience in software engineering & will have a solid java background. Abraxas plc acts as an employment agency/business. |
